Package Options

Below is a description of our weekly pool service:

Basic Weekly Pool Service

We will visit your pool once a week, and perform the following as needed:

● Test your pool water weekly on site and regularly analyze it with our computerized Smart Lab system

● Add chemicals purchased from Suntime Pools West to balance and sanitize water

● Add chemicals to prevent algae, cloudy water and to protect your equipment. Salt pools especially require regular additions of products to prevent scale and corrosion

● Salt Pools: we will install sacrificial anodes if none present to help protect your equipment from corrosion (for an additional charge - please contact us if you would like a quote before we install them). We will also regularly check the salt cell and clean it as needed (for an additional charge of $60 plus supplies.)

● Backwash/Rinse sand filters, Backwash and add D.E. or hose off filter cartridges

● Perform regular chemical cleanings on sand and cartridge filters (for an additional charge of $90 plus supplies)

● When needed (usually once a month), disassemble DE filters, chemically clean internal grids, reassemble and add DE (for an additional charge of $150 plus supplies)

● A sand change is recommended every 3 years. Weekly customers are REQUIRED to have one every 5 years. If you use Baquacil products you are REQUIRED to have a sand change every year.

● Empty pump and skimmer baskets as needed

● While providing theses cleaning and chemical services, we will be monitoring your equipment to make sure it is in top working order and will alert you if we find any mechanical issues that need major repairs. However, if minor repairs are warranted, such as fixing plumbing leaks; replacing pump/skimmer baskets, pump seals/gaskets and/or filter caps; making small repairs to pool sweeps, etc., we will make the repair during your weekly service visit and bill parts accordingly (Some repairs may have additional labor charges)

Premium Weekly Pool Service

Premium Service includes everything in the Basic Package plus we will perform the following as needed:

● Vacuum, net and brush pool walls and bottom

● Clean automatic pool cleaner receptacle(s)

Weekly Hot Tub Service

We check the hot tub once a week, and perform the following as needed:

● Take a water sample for computerized water analysis

● Add chemicals purchased from Suntime Pools West to balance and sanitize water

● Clean filters, empty skimmer baskets, and clean waterline as needed

● For an additional charge we will drain, clean, and refill hot tub when needed (usually every 3-4 months)

$70 per week plus the cost of chemicals.

Optimizer by BioGuard

Optimized Pools usually do not experience chlorine demand or algae blooms and we highly recommend its usage.

Approximate price is $100 for every 10,000 gallons of pool water.

Below is a description of the benefits of Optimizer Plus:

● Helps suppress algae growth

● Perfect for helping reduce algae in Salt Pools

● Enhances water quality by softening water

● Increases sanitizer effeciency

● Reduces cloudiness in water

● Compatible with most sanitizers: chlorine, bromine, biguanide

● Usually needed only once a season

We ask that all weekly customers please do the following:

● Maintain the water level at least 1/2 way up the skimmer (but not above the skimmer).

● Empty skimmer basket(s) if they fill up prior to our weekly visit.

● Let us know if you have special requests for the week (such as parties, driveway work, etc.).

● Please let us know at least one week in advance of a party or other special event, so that we can best time the cleaning and treating of the pool and/or spa.

● Call us if you notice any of the following: excessive water loss, strange noises, cloudy/green water, etc.

Keep in mind that we cannot perform miracles.
It is always best to address issues as quickly as possible and allow enough time to take care of any issues in order to avoid additional costs and problems.
