Cover Removal

*For covers greater than 800 sqft, covers that require us to swim or use a boat, and other non-standard covers there will be an upcharge.

We will remove the cover and leave it folded on your pool deck. This does not include cleaning the cover or removing water and debris from the cover. If the cover is not clear of debris/water upon our arrival, we will clean and drain it and charge $55 for every 15 minutes per tech. In some cases, it may be necessary to reschedule your opening, a minimum fee of $110 will apply if this is the case.

If your system has unexpected problems, an additional service charge may be required as the opening crews are dispatched with a full schedule and are equipped to only open pools. If your pool has automation, programming it is NOT included in starting the system. The tech will leave the automation in service mode if the automation is not properly set up.

Opening Chemicals & Pool Cleaning *

Would you like for us to add chemicals and/or clean?

The amount of cleaning and chemicals varies depending on when the pool closing dates, outside temperatures throughout the off-season, contaminants that get in the pool through wind and/or precipitation, and whether you added chemicals at closing and under the cover throughout the winter. The options below are designed to help you budget for your opening and allow you to decide how involved you want to be.

Option 1 - No return trips, add chemicals ONLY at the opening visit - NO cleaning (brushing/scooping/vacuuming) will be done.

Option 2 - No return trips, add chemicals and/or clean for up to 1 hour at the opening visit.

Option 3 - Opening Visit and up to 2 Return Visits to clean, test & treat water- $700-$1000

Option 4 - Keep coming to clean, test & treat water until it is to maintenance stage - $850 plus.

The budget listed does not include removing the cover or starting the system. We will continue to visit your pool until your budget/number of visits has been reached or the pool is to maintenance stage. We will contact you at this point to see how you want to proceed.

Return visits include water testing, chemical treatment, and up to one hour of cleaning for a base fee of $220, plus the cost of chemicals. Products used from our service vehicles are billed at standard in-store rates. If site conditions—such as low water levels or lack of access to the pool—prevent us from cleaning, a $110 trip fee will apply in addition to any chemicals used off our truck. Cleaning services exceeding the initial hour are billed at $55 per 15-minute increment.
